Marco Padoin: 9 treatments and 30% less product vs 13/14 treatments

Marco Padoin: 9 treatments and 30% less product vs 13/14 treatments

azienda agricola a conduzione familiare, nonché agriturismo, “Società Agricola Camoi”One of the aspects that reconciles us with life and makes us appreciate our work is the esteem that more and more our clients and friends are testifying in favor of our technology and agricultural mist blowers. This is one of those cases.

From one of the areas in Italy more suited for the cultivation of the vine: the area of Treviso, Marco Padoin wrote to us; more precisely he wrote from his family-run farm, as well as agritourism, “Azienda Agricola Camoi” in Via Cucco, 60 at Collalto di Susegana (http://www.camoi.it/).

Marco Padoin is the kind of “professional” as well as a hunter who, when talking about vines and vineyards gives an opinion on the matter, means that he has soiled his hands and knows what he is talking about.
It is no coincidence that the results he obtains with his Martignani Mist Blower B612 1000 Shuttle Turbo 1 with Electrostatic Spray System are excellent, to say the least, “9 treatments against 13/14 for the rest” and “with 30% less product inside”.
These results mean:

  • Optimal use of the machine,
  • Achieving the best results after tests carried out in-field,
  • Environmentally friendly,
  • Product friendly,
  • Consumers’ friendly.

Finally, we are pleased to know that it involves young people, “some guys from certain schools for research purposes…”, this means teaching, sharing virtues and knowledge, applying what some call “good practices”, but now we let Marco ‘talk’…

Good morning Melchiorre,

Excuse me for the delay in answering you, but unfortunately during vintage we don’t have much time, and so I am answering now, however I am fed up with people that criticize me without knowing, I hear all kind of things and then I answer to everyone because I do not like to hear nonsense like:

  • But with the Martignani you lose the grapes because you use too little water;
  • But with the Martignani you burn the vines because you use a more concentrated mixture than the traditional one;

And the best ones are:

  • But with the Martignani you ruin the grapes because it blows too much air and gets beaten about;
  • With the Martignani you don’t even treat the vines because the air is so fast that the product passes through the plant and falls to the ground!!

In short, authentic nonsense!!

Unfortunately, when I am alone, I reply in kind, outright!!

Like, this year I carried out 9 treatments against the 13/14 of the rest, and always with 30% less product inside!!

I gave my logbook to some guys from certain schools for research purposes, in San Michele all’Adige, I have two who have used it, one in Milan and 6 in the Enology School of Conegliano!

And the other farmers always ask me how can I have beautiful grapes and when I vintage I can’t come out of the vineyard with strange smells, and the answer is always the same one, merit of the Martignani!!

You have to understand the philosophy that goes behind this mist blower and then you will have amazing results with lower costs!!!

I finish with Mr. B…., not only fellow villager and acquaintance but also sublime ignorant and stinger farmer, who came to tell me that it is useless to throw away my money on a Martignani when he does the same with his old machine, he says that in the end pumping the vines is done anyway!!
And I told him told him a bit gruffly, that it’s like criticizing a Ferrari having always driven a Lada Niva!!

Unfortunately, there are still too many people like this, but I will always defend a product of which I am proud of and I am convinced that it is simply the best!!

Have a lovely day.
