Agrilevante Technical Innovation Contest 2017: Mention for our Pneumatic and Electrostatic Mist Blower M612 Compact with “Gib-Dor” Diffusor
Since 2009 FederUnacoma has promoted within Agrilevante a competition for awarding prizes and highlighting innovative products achieved by the agricultural mechanization industry for new and traditional production chains in the primary sector.
The Technical Innovation Contest is open to all companies exhibiting at Agrilevante 2017 which have developed machinery, accessories or components which feature avant-garde solutions for environmental sustainability, increasing productivity, safety for operator and consumers.
In this regard, the Martignani Pneumatic and Electrostatic Mist Blower M612 Compact with “Gib-Dor” Diffuser, has been awarded the acknowledgment Mention 2017, for its innovative target efficacy of hormone-based products, growth control and active principles against Botrytis Cinerea and Vine moth, on table grapes vines and actinidias.
As part of an ever-increasing focus on the environmental issues, the advantages of the Gib-Dor system are evident when one considers how important it is to steer the applicative flows over specific targets to which the various active principles are aimed at, zeroing drift losses in the air and surrounding environment. The model, that is very compact to adapt itself, in fact, to the most widespread table grape cultivation methods of south Italy, offers the possibility to treat precisely and accurately the grapes’ area: the standard diffuser of 180°, ideal for the treatment of all the vegetative mass, can be replaced quickly by the special 6/8 multiple independently adjustable diffusers.
An application method so selective enhances in a significant manner all the advantages of water low volumes with electrostatic drift recovery, from these points of view:
- Functional – Practicality and precision with minimum useful dosage
- Economic– savings in terms of water, labor-time and active principles
..these are all elements which make the correct use of insecticides more eco-friendly, according to the categorical imperative of the precise agriculture of the Third Millennium.
