Martignani Whirlwind B612 in Morocco
On July 6th, 2011 we’ve demonstrated the farmer’s owned Whirlwind B612 1500 l Turbo 2 Electrostatic Mist Blower in a large (300 hectares surface) citrus farm belonging to Mr. Addahri Abderrahmane – Domaine Wara located in Taroudant-Agadir (Morocco).
A fluorescent dye pigment was sprayed at just 500 l/ha with the Martignani at a speed of 3,5 km/hour on a thick Tangerine citrus variety.

On July 14th, 2011, we’ve demonstrated our Whirlwind B612 1500 l Turbo 2 model Electrostatic Mist blower (http://www.martignani.com/en/pull-type-whirlwind-b-612-pto-trailed-sprayer.asp ) in a large (150 hectares surface) Khaki orchard located in Mazagon-Huelva (Southern Spain).
A fluorescent dye pigment was sprayed at 250 l/ha with the Martignani at a speed of 6,5 km/hour in comparison with one of the existing farm air blast sprayers at 1500 l/ha at about same speed.
After sunset, with a powerful Led UV torch, the impressive and even leaves coverage was shown to the farmer, leaves pictures show the run off produced by the big droplets produced by the farm air blast sprayer and, on the other hand, the very even coverage and penetration (thanks to its fine – 130 microns average – droplets) with the Martignani Mist Blower with 6 times less water/hectare.
